IPS members get online access to all issues of Phycologia. They also receive discounts on registration for the International Phycological Congress. If you would like to become a member, please join below.

Regular and Retired members may elect to subscribe to our Journal Phycologia either Online Only or both Print & Online.  For a Student membership a signature from the Major Professor/ Supervisor is required.

You must Register for an account to purchase a Membership and conduct other transactions. Future visits to the website will only require login.

Please note that if you are a new member, you are joining for the calendar year. All memberships run January 1 - December 31. If you are joining later in the year (after May) we recommend that you join as 'online only' because back issues are printed on-demand and may take several weeks to be printed and shipped to you. You can change your membership to receive the print journal for the following year during the end-of-year renewal.
